Delivered by DYW Moray in partnership with DP Leadership, the programme offers apprentices and recent completers the opportunity to represent their organisations, share their experiences, and inspire the next generation of apprentices.

Are you a current apprentice or have you completed an apprenticeship in the last 3 years?
Whether it is a Foundation, Modern or Graduate Apprenticeship, if you are aged between 16-24 and you work for a Moray organisation then come along and be part of our Moray Apprenticeship Ambassador Programme.
The Apprenticeship Ambassador Development Programme is an exciting year-long initiative designed to develop the confidence,
communication, and leadership skills of young apprentices across Moray. Delivered by DYW Moray in partnership with DP Leadership, the programme offers apprentices and recent completers the opportunity to represent their organisations, share their experiences, and inspire the next generation of apprentices.
What will you do as an Apprenticeship Ambassador?
As a current or past apprentice, you will share your apprenticeship story to inspire others. Ambassadors take part in a range of
engagement activities such as:
- Delivering classroom talks and workshops
- Speaking at careers events or fairs
- Representing their organisation at DYW Moray activities
- Sharing their journey on social media or within their workplace
- Showcase opportunities, experiences, and successes available through apprenticeships.
After the launch, you will be invited to interactive in-person sessions held at UHI Moray, led by DP Leadership, focusing
on:
- Confidence and self-awareness
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Leadership and communication skills
- Practical Experience
As an ambassador you will put your skills into practice by engaging in at least three outreach activities throughout the year, such as class talks, workshops, or career fairs.
By supporting the programme, you will:
- Grow confidence in communication, teamwork, leadership, and
presentation.
- Gain valuable experience that enhances CVs and career prospects.
- Connect with fellow ambassadors, employers, and professionals across Moray.
- Make a difference by inspiring other young people to explore
apprenticeships.
