DYW Moray is delighted to present our Employer Recognition of the Month award to Mark Beattie, Head of HR at Valu-Trac Investment Management, for his exceptional contribution to supporting young people across Moray.
In a short time, Valu-Trac has emerged as a strong champion of youth employment and skills development. Working closely with DYW Moray, the organisation has shown exceptional commitment through school engagement, college collaboration, and investment in apprenticeships. Their efforts include hosting work placements, attending career events, and developing graduate apprenticeship pathways to support both current staff and future talent.
Mark Beattie, as Head of HR, has been instrumental in driving this high level of engagement. His passion and dedication have played a vital role in embedding youth opportunities within the organisation’s culture. It has been a privilege for DYW Moray to work alongside him and witness the positive impact being created for young people in Moray.

This recognition follows Valu-Trac’s recent success at the DYW Moray Employer Thank You Evening in May, where the company was proudly named the winner of the Medium Business Award, further cementing their position as a leader in employer engagement within the region.
