As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2021, DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) Moray and partners have joined forces once again to organise a FREE virtual event on 4th March 2021, 4:30pm - 6:00pm.
To register your attendance: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e...
This event is suitable for any parents/guardians/carers/educators and young people in Secondary School or who have left and would like to know more about apprenticeships in Moray.
Apprenticeships have changed significantly over the years and the apprenticeship family has also grown. Did you know you can do an apprenticeship in your senior phase of secondary school with a local employer and Moray College UHI? Did you know you can now study a degree level apprenticeship with a university, gaining full time employment and a wage? Did you know there are now over 100 different types of apprenticeships on offer?
Virtual Event Set Up:
• You will receive a link to the event closer to the time once you have signed up.
• During the first half of the event, you will get the chance to hear about the apprenticeship family from our expert speakers.
• Thereafter, you will have the opportunity to go into breakout rooms of your choice with an expert, employer who recruits these types of apprentices and a current apprentice. This is your chance to ask any burning questions to find out how this apprenticeship works and if it is the right apprenticeship for you. There will be a breakout room about senior phase foundation apprenticeships, modern apprenticeships and graduate apprenticeships.
Please note, this event is only for parents/guardians/carers/educators and young people.
