DYW Moray Announces Dave Marshall of DP Leadership as Employer of the Month
DYW Moray has named Dave Marshall, Director of DP Leadership, as Employer of the Month in recognition of his exceptional voluntary commitment to supporting young people across Moray. Through delivering leadership workshops and helping to develop the Apprenticeship Ambassador Programme, Dave has equipped apprentices with valuable communication, presentation and confidence-building skills. His passion for developing young people and championing apprenticeships has made a lasting impact, making him a highly deserving recipient of the award.
DYW Moray is delighted to recognise Dave Marshall, Director of DP Leadership, as our Employer of the Month in recognition of his outstanding commitment to supporting young people across Moray.
Since first meeting the DYW Moray team in 2025, Dave has become an exceptional ambassador for DYWs work, dedicating his time, expertise and passion to helping young people develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the world of work.
Drawing on his extensive leadership background, Dave has designed and delivered a range of engaging workshops that have inspired young people across Moray. His practical approach, combined with his ability to connect with learners, has made a lasting impact on those taking part, helping them build confidence, resilience and the communication skills that employers value.
One of Dave's most significant contributions has been his involvement in the DYW Moray Apprenticeship Ambassador Development Group. This exciting initiative brings together apprentices from a variety of employers across Moray to become ambassadors for apprenticeships in Moray and Nationally. The programme equips apprentices with the skills and confidence to represent their organisations, share their apprenticeship journeys with young people, and promote apprenticeships as a valuable career pathway within schools, colleges and community events.
As a key partner in developing the programme voluntarily, Dave has played an instrumental role in shaping its delivery. He has already delivered three interactive workshops to the first cohort of 14 Apprenticeship Ambassadors representing several businesses from across Moray. Through these sessions, apprentices have developed valuable skills in public speaking, presentation delivery, communication and audience engagement. These new skills will not only help them become confident ambassadors for their own organisations but will also support their long-term personal and professional development.
