Walker's Shortbread have been long-standing and valued supporters of DYW Moray, demonstrating their dedication to the development of the region’s future workforce. In recent months, they have taken part in numerous engagements, offering meaningful support to primary, secondary, and UHI Moray students.

Walker's Shortbread, a globally recognised brand, is proudly rooted in the heart of Moray and continues to champion local talent by providing a diverse range of career pathways and work-based learning opportunities across various departments within the business. Giving many young people the opportunity to enter the world of work and progress with the company.

Over the past year, Walker's have implemented the DYW Ambassador model, actively encouraging staff from multiple areas of the organisation to engage in DYW Moray activities. These have included inspirational class talks in primary schools, insightful sessions exploring alternatives to higher education for senior phase pupils, and taking a stand at the DYW Moray Apprenticeship Jobs Fair.

The impact of Walker's Shortbread’s engagement has been incredible. Their commitment has reached an incredible 3,810 young people over the last 12 months- an outstanding contribution that demonstrates the positive difference employers can make in the lives of young people.
