What You'll Do
As a Fencing Operative, you’ll be a key part of our on-site crew, involved in a wide range of fencing projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Installing new fences and gates to job specifications
- Repairing and maintaining existing fencing
- Measuring and marking fence lines according to site plans
- Hand chapping fence posts when needed
- Fitting gates, hinges, latches, and other hardware
- Operating machinery and tools relevant to the job
What We're Looking For
We're after reliable and motivated individuals who enjoy physical work and being part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong team ethic and problem-solving mindset
- Physical stamina and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Confidence using hand and power tools safely
- Great attention to detail
- Previous experience in fencing, landscaping, construction, or joinery (preferred)
- A good understanding of health & safety on site
Desirable Certifications
- Valid CSCS card (preferred)
- Tickets for plant and machinery (e.g., excavator, tractor, chainsaw) are a bonus
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
