We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving general labouring duties, assisting skilled trades ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently as well as transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from various sites. A clean driving record and good timekeeping are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive & load company vehicles to transport materials and equipment between sites as required ensuring timely deliveries and collections
· Perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance (oil, fuel, cleanliness) to ensure vehicles are kept clean and in good working condition
· Follow health and safety procedures at all times
· Carry out general labouring duties on site
· Prepare and clean up job sites (removing debris, sweeping, etc.)
· Assist tradespeople as needed
· Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe
· Operate basic hand and power tools (if trained)
Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence (essential)
· Previous labouring or construction experience (preferred)
· Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
· Good timekeeping and reliability. Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
· CSCS card (can be an advantage)
· Willingness to learn and take instruction
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor and indoor environments, often in varying weather conditions
May require early starts and occasional overtime
