We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our busy Yarn Manufacturing team on a permanent basis.
About the Role
As a Teazing Operative here at Johnstons of Elgin, you will be operating and patrolling machinery to manufacture yarns to be used for knitting and weaving. You will nonetheless aim to achieve the required output levels to meet our production plan. No experience is needed as full training will be provided.
This is a full time, permanent post working 38 hours per week on a 2 shift rotation;
Early – Monday to Thursday 0600-1400 and Friday 0600-1200
Late – Monday to Wednesday 1400-2400 and Thursday 1400-2200
Rate of pay starting from £12.60 per hour, dependant on experience.
