We are currently recruiting for a Yarn Store Operative to join our busy Yarn Store. Our growing Yarn Store is like a library of wool cones, stacked floor to ceiling with classic and new colours. We have a vacancy available currently, involving collecting, counting & booking in these cones.
About the Role
As a Yarn Store Operative here at Johnstons of Elgin, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing yarn, ensuring that internal departments receive the required yarn supplies. You will be conducting stock takes and ensuring that the yarn is stored correctly, whilst working with attention to detail, you will nonetheless aim to achieve the required output levels to meet our production plan. This role involves physical work with some manual handling tasks required.
This is a full time, permanent post working 38 hours per week on a three-shift rotation (early, back and night shifts).
Rate of pay starting from £12.60 per hour, dependant on experience.
