Forres Academy 1,2,3 Challenge Day

As part of their induction programme, Forres Academy is hosting a 1, 2, 3 Challenge Day for Broad General Education (BGE) pupils. This event is designed to engage S1–S3 pupils in practical, employer-led challenges that encourage creativity, teamwork and problem-solving.

We are inviting employers and industry professionals to play an active role in delivering this experience and helping pupils build early awareness of the world of work.

Employers are asked to:

• Design and deliver a short, interactive challenge linked to your sector or organisation
• Introduce the challenge to pupils at the start of the session
• Remain with the group to support, guide and interact with pupils as they work through the activity

Challenges can be tailored to suit:

• S1, S2 or S3 pupils – you can choose which year group you would like to work with
• A range of formats, such as problem-solving tasks, design challenges, scenario-based activities or practical exercises

The focus should be on encouraging participation, building confidence and helping pupils understand how skills developed in school connect to real-world contexts.
